Lloyds current-account PDFs use Money out, Money in, and Balance, often with a short Type column and a description. Dates may be day month year with a three-letter month, or day/month/year numbers. Amounts are pounds.
A text-based Lloyds PDF is read in your browser. The file is not uploaded. If the columns on your copy differ from the notes below, change the mapping in the preview before you download.
The Type value is a label such as DEB, FPI, or DD. It should not be parsed as money. Map it to Ignore or Description. A following line that only contains a reference belongs to the transaction above.
Typical columns: Date, Description, Type, Money out, Money in, Balance. Date order: day/month/year. Currency on the statement: GBP.
In Lloyds internet banking, open the current account, choose statements, and save the PDF.
Set Type to Ignore or Description. Money out is Debit and Money in is Credit.
If dates look like 17/01/2026, day is first. If they look like 17 Jan 2026, they are already unambiguous.
Check a direct debit and an incoming payment, then download.
