Monzo statements are usually a clean list: Date, Description, Amount, and Balance. Spending is negative. Dates are day/month/year. Pots and round-ups show up as transfers when they moved money, with descriptions that say so.
A text-based Monzo PDF is read in your browser. The file is not uploaded. If the columns on your copy differ from the notes below, change the mapping in the preview before you download.
Monzo also lets you export CSV from the app. If you already have that CSV, you do not need to convert the PDF. The PDF path is for the formal statement file.
Typical columns: Date, Description, Amount, Balance. Date order: day/month/year. Currency on the statement: GBP.
In the Monzo app, open the account statement for the month and save or share the PDF.
Negative rows are debits. Positive rows are credits, including salary and refunds.
