Navy Federal share checking statements generally use Date, Description, Debit, Credit, and Balance. Dates are month/day/year. The account may be called a share draft or checking share; the table is still a deposit-account ledger, not a card bill.
A text-based Navy Federal PDF is read in your browser. The file is not uploaded. If the columns on your copy differ from the notes below, change the mapping in the preview before you download.
Transfers between a savings share and checking are real rows. A dividend or interest credit is a credit. Debit-card purchases sit in the debit column even when the number has no minus sign.
Typical columns: Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Balance. Date order: month/day/year. Currency on the statement: USD.
In Navy Federal online banking, open the checking share, then eStatements, and save the PDF.
Leave those roles in place. A positive number in Debit is still money out.
If you delete the dividend, the last balance will not match the statement.
Use XLSX to keep both amount columns. OFX will sign debits as negative.
