PNC Virtual Wallet and standard checking PDFs usually present Withdrawals and Deposits as separate columns beside Date, Description, and Balance. Activity is sometimes also grouped under headings such as Deposits and Other Additions or Debit Card Withdrawals. Dates are month/day/year.
A text-based PNC PDF is read in your browser. The file is not uploaded. If the columns on your copy differ from the notes below, change the mapping in the preview before you download.
If your file uses section headings and a single Amount column, unsigned numbers take their direction from the heading. If it uses two amount columns, the column wins. Virtual Wallet's spending analysis pages are charts, not the ledger, and they do not convert into rows.
Typical columns: Date, Description, Withdrawals, Deposits, Balance. Date order: month/day/year. Currency on the statement: USD.
In PNC online banking, open the account and download the monthly statement. Skip the spending pie charts if you only need the ledger.
Two amount columns mean you map Withdrawals and Deposits. One Amount column under section titles means you check a couple of unsigned rows against the heading.
PNC US statements are month/day/year. Confirm with any row after the 12th of the month.
After the preview matches the PDF, download XLSX or CSV. Use QuickBooks CSV if the next stop is a bookkeeping import.
